OsMA

a.k.a. Moving Average of Oscillator, MACD histogram

An indicator showing the gap between the MACD line and its signal line, drawn as a histogram.
In plain English

An indicator showing the gap between the MACD line and its signal line, drawn as a histogram.

OsMA (moving average of oscillator) measures how far the MACD line has pulled away from its own signal line. It is drawn as bars above and below zero, very much like the MACD histogram many platforms already show.

Growing bars mean momentum is accelerating; shrinking bars mean it is fading, even if price is still moving the same way. Traders use it to spot that loss of steam a little earlier than the MACD crossover itself.
