Broker
The company that gives you access to the market, holds your money, and executes your trades.
Unless you are a bank, you cannot trade forex directly. A broker connects you, gives you a trading platform, holds your deposit, and fills your orders.
Brokers earn through the spread, commissions, or overnight swap charges. Some pass your orders on to the wider market; others take the other side themselves.
Check that a broker is licensed by a respected regulator in your region, that client money is kept separate from the company's, and what protection you have if something goes wrong. A flashy bonus is not a reason to trust anyone with your money.
Picking a broker for the biggest bonus or highest leverage, without checking who regulates it.
