Czech Koruna (CZK)
a.k.a. CZK, Koruny
The currency of the Czech Republic, code CZK, which floats freely.
In plain English
The currency of the Czech Republic, code CZK, which floats freely.
The Czech koruna (CZK; plural koruny) is managed by the Czech National Bank. The country is an EU member but has not adopted the euro.
From 2013 to 2017 the central bank held a floor on EUR/CZK to stop the koruna strengthening too much, and the exit from that floor was closely watched. It is usually traded against the euro.
