Maximum Trading Power
a.k.a. Buying power
The biggest total position your account can control: your account value multiplied by your maximum leverage.
Maximum trading power is how big you could go if you pushed leverage all the way. Multiply your account value by your broker's maximum leverage. With 2,000 dollars and 30:1 leverage, your maximum trading power is 60,000 dollars of currency.
It is a speed limit, not a target. Trading at full power means the smallest move against you eats your margin and triggers a margin call. Most experienced traders use a small fraction of it.
Reading maximum trading power as "how much I should trade" instead of "how much rope the broker will give me".
