Trading plan
Your written rulebook: what you trade, when you enter and exit, and how much you risk, decided before the pressure hits.
A trading plan is the set of rules you write down while calm, so you don't have to invent them while your heart is pounding. It covers which markets and hours you trade, what setup gets you in, where the stop-loss and take-profit go, and how much of your account each trade can lose.
The point isn't to predict the market. It's to make your decisions boring and repeatable, so you can measure what works and stop the bad habits that don't.
Writing a plan, then tearing it up the first time a trade goes against you.
