Ascending Trend Line
a.k.a. Uptrend line, Rising trend line
A line drawn under two or more rising lows, acting as a sloping floor in an uptrend.
An ascending trend line connects higher lows on a chart. Each time price dips to the line and bounces, the line gains credibility as rising support.
It is a simple way to see an uptrend and to decide where you would be wrong. If price closes clearly below it, the slope that held buyers up has cracked. Draw it through obvious lows; if you have to squint and force it, it is probably not there.
Redrawing the line every time it breaks so the trend never 'ends' on your chart.
