Day trading means you are flat by bedtime. A day trader might make a handful of trades, or dozens, chasing moves that play out over minutes or hours.
No overnight positions means no overnight swap and no waking up to a gap. But costs stack up fast with frequent trading, and short time frames are noisy. It is demanding and stressful, and many who try it lose money.
