Market
Any place, physical or digital, where buyers and sellers meet to trade, with prices set by supply and demand.
A market is anywhere buyers and sellers meet and agree on a price. It used to be a crowded square with people shouting. Now it is mostly servers: the forex market, for example, has no building at all, just a web of banks and brokers trading electronically.
Traders use the word loosely. "The market" can mean a whole asset class (the stock market), an index (the S&P 500), or a quote: ask a dealer "what's your market?" and they will give you a bid and an ask. Whatever the meaning, the engine is the same: supply and demand tugging the price around.
