Noob
a.k.a. Newbie, n00b, Newb
Slang for a beginner, someone new to crypto or trading.
In plain English
Slang for a beginner, someone new to crypto or trading.
A noob is a newcomer, still learning the ropes. Everyone starts as one, and in friendly corners of the internet it's said with a grin.
In the rougher corners, noobs are the target: of shills, pump-and-dump groups and anyone selling a "guaranteed" system. Asking basic questions is exactly how you stop being one. Our Lingo pages exist for that.
