Schiff Pitchfork
a.k.a. Modified pitchfork
A variation of the Andrews' pitchfork drawing tool, with a shifted starting point that suits shallower trends.
The Schiff pitchfork is a trend-channel tool drawn from three swing points, just like the Andrews’ pitchfork. The difference is where the handle starts: the Schiff version moves the starting point halfway toward the second swing, which tilts the channel less steeply.
Traders use it when the standard pitchfork angles too sharply for the trend in front of them. The middle line acts as a magnet price tends to return to, and the outer lines act as possible support and resistance.
