Triple Top
A bearish reversal pattern where price hits roughly the same high three times and fails to break higher.
In plain English
A bearish reversal pattern where price hits roughly the same high three times and fails to break higher.
A triple top is a ceiling that holds three times. Buyers push price up to the same area three times, and each time they get turned back. By the third rejection, they are running out of steam.
Traders look for confirmation when price breaks below the lows between the peaks. It is the bigger cousin of the double top and the flip side of the triple bottom.
