Voice direct trading is two people on a phone line agreeing a deal: a client calls a bank's dealer, asks for a price, and says "mine" or "yours". No electronic platform, no broker in between.
It dominated forex for decades and still survives for very large, complex or unusual trades where a human conversation helps. For most volume, it has been replaced by electronic direct trading.
