Social trading turns trading into a social network. You can see other traders' results, read their ideas and, on copy-trading platforms, automatically mirror their trades in your own account.
It can be a useful way to learn. The danger: past performance on a leaderboard can be luck, leverage or survivorship bias, and when the trader you copy blows up, your account goes with them. Check their drawdown and risk, not just their returns.
