The Fed staff's confidential briefing book of forecasts and policy options prepared for each FOMC meeting.
The Tealbook is the Fed's internal homework for policymakers. Before each FOMC meeting, Fed economists produce it with their forecasts for the US and world economy and an analysis of possible policy choices. It replaced the older Greenbook and Bluebook in 2010, and is named after the colour you get when you mix green and blue.
It is kept secret for about five years, so traders cannot use it live. Historians and economists use the released versions to see what the Fed knew, and expected, at each turning point.
