Two-Way Price
a.k.a. Two-Way Quote, Two-sided quote, Two-way market
A quote that shows both a bid and an ask, so you can either buy or sell.
In plain English
A quote that shows both a bid and an ask, so you can either buy or sell.
A two-way price gives you both sides at once: the price the dealer will buy at (bid) and the price it will sell at (ask). EUR/USD 1.0850/1.0852 is a two-way price. You can hit either side.
Dealers who quote two-way prices without knowing which way you want to trade are taking a risk, so the spread between the two is their compensation. A request for market is how a client asks for one.
