Buy Wall
a.k.a. Bid wall
A large cluster of buy orders stacked at one price in an order book, which can act like a floor.
In plain English
A large cluster of buy orders stacked at one price in an order book, which can act like a floor.
A buy wall is a visible heap of bids at one level in the order book, big enough that sellers would need to chew through it before price could fall further.
Walls can be real support, or a bluff: big orders can be pulled at the last second to create a false impression. The opposite is a sell wall. In most spot forex you cannot see the full order book, so the idea is more common in crypto and exchange-traded markets.
