Bricked Funds
a.k.a. Bricked coins, Stuck funds
Crypto that still exists on the blockchain but can never be moved again, usually because of a mistake or a bug.
Bricked funds are coins turned into a brick: they show up on the blockchain, but nobody can ever spend them. The phrase comes from electronics, where a "bricked" gadget is as useful as a brick.
It happens when coins are sent to an address nobody controls, when a smart contract has a bug that locks everything inside it, or when a sender picks the wrong network for a transfer. Because blockchain transactions can't be reversed, there is usually no help desk to call.
Sending a big transfer without a small test first. Send a tiny amount, check it arrived, then send the rest.
